Abstract

The poster shares our new process for using microdata collection and analysis to understand the secondary impacts of COVID, and in the future of other societal shocks. Using a strategic partner network throughout the city, Communities Speak follows a uniquely designed project lifecycle to execute individual-level surveys whose results reveal impacts of the shock of COVID not found in other macrodata analyses or trackers and also makes the case for the use of microdata in applied policy making at the city level to create transparent and accessible data digitally at the city-level for all stakeholders to access and engage with.
